We had to re-shoot the scenes we did and finish the ones that we did not start on this day we started by getting make up on at about 11am which took about a hour and a half then went down to the theatre at 12:30pm-1pm and got toghter to talk about what we where going to do today but before that we did a small rehearsal where the humans had to pick a zombie I had two people that I had to chase so anyway we where told to hide behind the carun adn when told to come out and chase our partners, so I hide behind and when I came out I had my head lowerd walking slowly towards the person and then looked at them and got a bit faster then sprinted at them and attacked them (acting like) after that I looked at the other person I had to get and then chased after him he shoot me so I went down on the floor on my back and then looked at him where he shoot me in the head and diad. We did this about 5 times each time I tried to do it diffrently in diffrent loctions and diffrent ways to get him for example in the last one I climbed over some platforms in my way to get him and then attacked him.
After we had a breacxk and a few people asked how I could became so relaxed and stiff at the same time so I tried to give them a few tips on how to do it for instance leading with a body part I started with a foot and then when I charged lead with my head.
When we got back we started the filming by doing the scene we did the perforice week that we needed to redo after this we did the one where the zombies first came into the arena the compertors where in Some of us went right and some of had to chase the runner so My and another person siad we would do that so we went fowerd towerds a carma man and attacked him and then went after the runner. Once we did this we where told to come upstairs to do one of the scenes while the others where doing another one so I went upstairs and was told what to do so we waited behind a door and when it opened looked over a person shoulder and then dragged her out after this we had to run though a door on the left that also lead in the room and then stop and wait until a door slammed infront of us and then go out the door and make sure it slammed.

14Th march
We started to film on this day we got make up put on for the zombies has I was one with 4-5 others so we did about 1/2 scenes on this day they told us what to do and we tried to follow it best we could, so like we where told to try and get though the gate we also where told to start off groaning quietly and then get louder and when we where let loose to go after the one that let us out we did this a few times from different angles.
7th march
First off a bit back dated I know my bad anyway on the 7th of march we did a work shop for the zombie people so they knew who they wanted for the zombies even though they would be using everyone at one point they wanted to see who was better than the rest so I tried my best by making my joints stiff but also a little flaxble at the same time and worked around and the groaning noise they make.
After we did this for a little while we got into 2 groups with about 7-8 people in them and then had to do a thing where we sll where zombie but instead of roaming around singly like we where we had to follow in like a group so we did this and choose who would lead us and who would follow them we did this quiet well I would think. After we did this we where then told to come up with a scene and do it so we worked out to have 4 zombies and 4 humans and use the sits in the theatre to help us and make it so two people came into a Cinerama that had zombies dotted around with humans near them I was a z0mbie had was sat right behind a human we had someone laying down in-between the sits.
Anyway we started off with me groaning and then attacking the person in front of me, who then screamed really loud then after I finished that I looked at the two people sat next to each other screaming on my left behind me and got up and tried to get them the got up ran into the middle then up a bit and got surrounded by zombies when ran farther up getting trapped and another one to his left and then down in the clear area at the bottom of the tharte, the one that ran up got eaten and I went down wards walk towards him then did a short sprint to my right and we started to surrounded him until a reached the cartens and then another zombie got him from behind the cartons.

How many shots/frames are in the scene?
What kind of shots/frames are in the scene?
How do the actors ‘cheat’ the shots?
What are the actors’ vocal skills like?
How detailed are the actors’ performances?
Why do you think the actors’ performances are appropriate for film/TV acting?
Can you explain what you think is good about the actors performances, and why you think this? Use examples to help you.
Can you explain how you would have performed the scene differently, and why?

What is the scene from/about?
Italian job
You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!
How many shots/frames are in the scene?
13-15 lol
What kind of shots/frames are in the scene?
Well it has two shot MCU shoots for the people but for the van it starts off with EWS-WS-MS-EWS-MS
How do the actors ‘cheat’ the shots?
They do not look at the camera more to the right hand side of it and when they face each other they have one side of their face to the camera
What are the actors’ vocal skills like?
Loud since he is shouting
How detailed are the actors’ performances?
Very focused and when he’s angry it does seem like he is mad and other one looks he is like errr oops sorry
Why do you think the actors’ performances are appropriate for film/TV acting?
They keep their actions to the camera and not make actions outside the camera
Can you explain what you think is good about the actors performances, and why you think this? Use examples to help you.
Can you explain how you would have performed the scene differently, and why?
day 3 (clip 1)
What is the scene from/about?
Mom and dad save the world
Light grenade
How many shots/frames are in the scene?
40 shot’s/frames within the 2:22 mins clip like wow
What kind of shots/frames are in the scene?
At the beginning they start with a two shot which is two actors together this is usually shot in MS (medium shot) which is the waist up. It then goes into a MCU (medium close up) which is a close up of the actor from the shoulders to the top of the head and then back to two shot and so on until he throws the rock which then goes into a wide shot (WS) and then back to them in a two shot. (Sorry forgot to say when it zooms into the grenade it goes into a close up (CU))
When the guards come at 0:49 it is a two shot but a Medium close up then turns into wide shot to establish where they are then into a wide shot on the guards, then a Medium close up on a sign then back to the two shot and then a wide shot then into a EWS (Extreme wide shot- sometimes called a establishing shot) then into a wide shot on to a person then follows him until he kicks the bed and then into a Medium shot on the light grenade. Then follows him up then into a OSS (Over the shoulder shot) over the guard to see the other guards then back into the MS then follows him and then into a CU of his clothes, then a MCU onto the captain guard then into a MS on the guard then quick wide shot then back to a MS on the captain then when he picks it up into a CU then into a MS then into a MS of his clothes then into a wide shot of all the guards, then into a EWS then into a WS then into a CU of the grenade then into a wide shot the into a OSS then into a Two shot of a MS then into a WS again
How do the actors ‘cheat’ the shots?
They try to do everything so the camera can at least see one side of their head
What are the actors’ vocal skills like?
They talk quite loud
How detailed are the actors’ performances?
Why do you think the actors’ performances are appropriate for film/TV acting?
Can you explain what you think is good about the actors performances, and why you think this? Use examples to help you.

Day 2
We did these questions and I will answer them with what we learnt and did today.
How do you think film and TV acting might be different or similar to theatre acting?
Well there are many diffrent reasons why they are diffrent a few that are simler, for instance some TV shows can be like live theatre but most of them are not. TV and film cost a lot more money and like theatre, Film and TV can have sets It is just that Film and TV sets can look better and half the time they do not need sets because they can go to loctions which Theatre can't do.
What do you think a director would expect from an actor if they were looking to cast for a film/TV?
Well I'm going to put a list down for this one first off
- They are looking for a postive attitude not someone who complains a lot or is nasty to everyone they are looking for friendly people that can do teamwork and not try and kill people.
- People who can behave and be Professional not monkey around and act childish when they are not on stage, because a they might break something or ruin a scene and if they are being too loud the michrophone could pick it up and they would have to do the scene again
- Looks well, I don't mean like handsome or pretty well they could be, but they are looking for people that look like the character they want for example: They might want a tall white male there not going to pick a small white female now are they.
What would a director not want to see?
What kind of shots and frame styles (eg close up, etc) might you be using when you shoot your films?
How might you have to change your acting to suit the shot?
Day 1 (A day late)
Yesterday we had our auditions for 4 films. Well I looked at the 4 films available and looked at what they were about, well two were mostly emotional and I'm not good with stuff like that so I thought I will not go for them. The fairytale one looked good, but yet again probably not very good and did not want to go for the three of them.
But, I did like the zombie one, the script had just been put on the VLE and I looked over it and thought, well I really like it and decided to go for the scientist. Well today I did not get a call back for it so I am a bit sad about it, but it happens and I will just have to live with it. We also did a workshop because they needed a lot of zombies and it seems I was good at it and they might have choosen me for the main zombie, so I am happy about that and it seems fun.
So even tho I did try my best to get the part I want getting a part is good in it self.

What were you expecting from your audition?
Well it was what I expected to be, the audition as well, you had to go in and tell them your name, what days you can't be in and what part you want to go for and then they give you some lines and tell you to act them out.
How did you prepare for your audition?
Well we where told to learn this a script so I was going over the lines over and over again but in the end they changed it so I could not really prepare for it.
What went well/less well? What would you do differently if you could turn back time?
Well lets see I showed them a friendly and postive attude which I would do again but I think Being less nervous and prepering more is something that I could have done more if I had the script, but I was nervous I guess and I did not have much experience so it is to be expected.
